Mountain Valley Sportsman's Association, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a growing club of enthusiastic sport shooters, devoted to the shooting sports. Our goal is to provide a SAFE, premiere facility for all shooters to enjoy their sports. Range hours are daylight only. No night shooting is allowed unless part of an organized match or otherwise approved by the board. Night is defined by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is the time period 30 minutes after sunsetto30minutesbeforesunrise.Locatedon88beautifullywoodedacresarethefollowing;Two (2) overlaying Trap and Skeet fields, a Cowboy Action "Town" complete with Western style buildings, 100, 200 and 300 yard rifle range with a 120' covered shooting area and 12 permanently mounted benches, a 5 station Covered bay 50 Yard pistol range, and an 8 bay Action Shooting range for IDPA and USPSA, Multi-Gun, Rimfire, and Ladies On Target matches and other training classes.MVSA encouragesafamilyatmosphereandwelcomesvisitors,shooters and non-shooters alike. Visitors to the community are encouragedtocomeseeourfacilitiesandparticipateintheevents.

With a view toward a better knowledge on the part of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship. It shall be our further mission and purpose to encourage the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship, and the foundation of true patriotism.

Steel targets have been installed at the 100-200-300 yard rifle range. Check it out these are great to shoot at. Help us take care of them...no steel or armor piercing ammo allowed.•A range Flag has been installed at the Small Bore Pistol range. Be sure that you fly the flag when you are using the range and stowed it when you leave.•Two new rifle benches have been installed at the Small Bore Pistol range we are in process of getting the target stands and benches set up.•Cowboys are gettin’ ready for their big annual "Shootin in the Shade" event scheduled for August 29-30, 2015. There will be some great new stages for 2015. •Welcome our new Trap and Skeet Chairman Allen Ratliff. He has been a trap shooter since his youth and been coaching the Fountain Lake team. Come on out Saturdays or Tuesdays and meet Allen and shoot some Trap.
