Utilizing our 300-yard rifle range and 50-yard pistol range, MVSA is a Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP)-affiliated club. MVSA holds military or sanctioned CMP matches on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9 am, with registration open at 8:30 am. Any style military rifle may be used. The rifle match consists of 35 rounds, five round sight in and three 10-round strings. Each rifle match is followed by a pistol match, which varies each month and is announced prior to each match. Match scores are emailed to participants monthly. Fee is $8.00 for the rifle match and $2.00 more for the pistol match.
MVSA also hosts the Battle of the Valley Match on the 100 - 200 - and 300-yard ranges in May each year. Members and non-members are invited to participate. Please check the MVSA calendar for dates.
